What is it?

Our Video Downloads are full-length movies which have been converted into a compressed digital format so that they can be viewed on your computer. Order online, download the video file, watch it right away, watch it as many times as you like.

What format are they? What do I need to view them?

They are Windows Media .wmv files. To play them you'll need media player software installed on your computer that supports the wmv format. Windows Media Player supports this format and is installed by default with Windows, so chances are you already have that or another player. We recommend keeping up with the latest upgrades. How long are the videos? What is the file size?

Typically our videos are 60-minute movies and the file size is approximately 200MB. Longer movies may use up to 300 MB hard drive space.

Why is this better than the streaming video?

You are saving the video on your own computer, so you can watch it whenever you like. Unlike streaming, the viewing is unaffected by Internet connection speeds and irregularities.

What does it cost?

Almost all of our videos are $20 and are 60 minutes long. From time to time a video is offered at another price; usually this is because the film is longer or shorter than this typical length.

Any caveats?

We recommended buying the movie download only if you have a high-speed connection. Otherwise the download process could take a very long time.
